La Plagne resort logistics
La Plagne main resort is comprised of several different villages:
- Aime La Plagne
- Belle Plagne
- Plagne Villages/Soleil
- Plagne Bellecôte
- Plagne Centre
- Plagne 1800
The main resort villages are all connected by a free shuttle bus network that runs from 08:00 to midnight, and of course the high-speed lift-system.
There are also a number of smaller traditional resorts that are not serviced directly by the shared transfer routes or the public shuttle bus:
- Peisey-Vallandry
- Champagny en Vanoise
- Plagne Montalbert
- Montchavin
- Les Coches
The resort logistics make travelling to and around the resort more complicated than in some more centralised resorts, so knowing which village and pick-up or drop-off point you're travelling from is even more important.
For La Plagne resort, there are transfers available from Geneva and Lyon Airports and Aime train station.
In resort, the drop-off points are in the main La Plagne villages:
- La Plagne Centre
- La Plagne Soleil
- La Plagne Bellecôte
- La Plagne Aime 2000
The drop-off points available will depend on the line you're booking - detailed information in below route sections. From these stops, you can then take the local bus service to reach your accommodation and get around the resort. Taxis are also available (advance booking recommended).
