UIAA Ice Climbing World Cup

The French stage of the World Cup comes to the Champagny ice tower

Ice climbers from all over the world will head to La Plagne to compete.

Qualifications take place on Thursday and Friday for the technical event, and on Friday afternoon for the speed, followed by the final. The final for the technical event will be Saturday evening followed by prize giving.

If you want to witness future potential Olympic stars in the making head down to watch this incredible event.

There will also be film screenings and live music for more entertainment.

Upcoming Events

Each of the La Plagne resorts, as well as the surrounding villages, holds a number of events throughout the year. Ice climbing competitions and ski races take place in the winter months, in addition to the usual après-ski parties featuring live bands and DJs. The summer, on the other hand, attracts a number of trail running and cycling competitions, as well as live concerts.
