GEM Altigliss Challenge
Biggest student ski and snowboard competition in Europe
The week-long competition is organised by Altigliss – Grenoble's Ecole de Management student club – and over 1,000 students are expected to attend from around 30 countries and 45 schools and universities.
Students compete in a range of challenges over the course of the week: Ski, Mountain and Village. The Altigliss Ski Challenge constitutes five events: GS, boardercross, big air, a special slalom and parallel team slalom.
The mountain challenge is a fun and interactive way to explore, where teams will take part in a combination of sports and adventure events such as orienteering, running and a treasure hunt.
If you're looking for a quiet holiday, it may be best to give this week a miss but if partying is your thing, then it's sure to be one of the highlights of the season.
